Happy Saturday, everyone! Today, I’m going to introduce you to two more of my characters from The Sullivan Six, Jaxon and Juliana Sullivan!

About Jaxon:
Jaxon Carter Sullivan is eleven years old and recently finished 6th grade. He has a twin sister, Juliana; they are the only two of the Sullivan children who are biological siblings. He was placed in foster care at the age of four. He was very protective of Juliana and did his best to take care of her in some very rough situations. When he first came to live with the Sullivans, he was very troubled and had a hard time opening up to them. Eventually, though, he realized that the Sullivans truly cared about him and his sister. The Sullivans also taught him about Jesus’ love, and he gave his life to Jesus last year. Some of his favorite things to do include playing sports and going on hiking or camping trips. In The Sullivan Six, Jaxon is the one who comes up with the idea to begin The Sullivan Six Detective Agency, which ends up leading him and his siblings to some exciting summer adventures!
Five Random Facts about Jaxon:
1. He is older than Juliana by ten minutes.
2. He is also shorter than Juliana, which he really does not like.
3. His favorite sports are baseball and basketball.
4. He is an ESTP personality type.
5. When he grows up, he wants to be a police officer.

About Juliana:
Juliana Mae Sullivan, better known to her family as Jules, is eleven years old and twins with Jaxon. Her experiences in foster care have made her very reserved and reluctant to open up to and trust other people. Her twin brother is her best friend and one of the few people she feels safe around. She recently became a Christian after seeing how accepting Jesus changed her brother’s life. Juliana loves animals, and the Sullivans have allowed her to keep a variety of pets. Currently, she has two guinea pigs, Caramel and Cookie. Besides playing with her animals, she also enjoys spending time with her siblings and spending time outside.
Five Random Facts about Juliana:
1. She is a Type 1 Diabetic.
2. Horses are her favorite animals, and she likes horseback riding at her cousins’ farm.
3. She loves playing with her neighbor, Mrs. Harmon’s, Jack Russel Terrier, Rocky.
4. She is an INFJ personality type.
5. When she grows up, she wants to be a veterinarian.
A Scene with Jaxon and Juliana:
“That sounds good to me,” Mrs. Harmon agreed. “I am worried about that boy. The incident I had was odd enough, but to hear that you saw him alone in the woods, too… I wonder where the poor child’s parents are.”
“Well, The Sullivan Six Detective Agency is on the case,” Jaxon declared.
“I’m sure you guys will do the best you can to solve the case.” Mrs. Harmon smiled.
Juliana grabbed Rocky’s harness and leash from the coat rack and slipped them over his head. She rewarded him with a pat on the head.
Rocky’s walk proved unsuccessful, at least as far as mystery-solving efforts went; Rocky had a good time. When the Sullivans arrived back at Mrs. Harmon’s, Juliana freed Rocky from his burdensome leash, and the family chatted with Mrs. Harmon for a few moments longer. She couldn’t think of anything else she needed help with, so the Sullivans left for home.
On the walk back, Bria shook her head sadly. “Maybe we should just face the facts,” she said. “This just might be a case that The Sullivan Six can’t solve. That boy might be gone for good.”
“Don’t give up so easily,” Jaxon chided. “We’re Sullivans, and Sullivans don’t give up!” He pumped his fists in an effort at enthusiasm.
“Think about it,” Juliana said. “Just this morning, we thought we wouldn’t get any more clues, then we found out about the news from Mrs. Harmon! We can’t give up until we know he’s safe.”
Mrs. Sullivan smiled. “I’m happy to see how much you care for others. Of course, we don’t know for sure what the boy’s circumstances are; he might need help, he might not; you might find him, you might not. But I think it’s very sweet of you guys to try. I’m proud of you children.”
I hope you enjoyed getting to learn a little more about Jaxon and Juliana! I will be back again next week with a book review. Until then, I would love to hear from you in the comments!
