Hello, everyone! Today, I have some very exciting news–two pieces of exciting news, actually!

First of all, many of you probably know that I have been working on my short story, “A Shelter in the Storm,” for an anthology. Here’s a little bit about it in case you’ve missed my previous posts:

Marianne Stanton, a young woman living on Swan’s Island, Maine during World War 2, spends her days out lobstering with her brother. However, when he is drafted into the military, her world falls apart. Can she learn how to trust God through the various changes the war brings into her life?

I am finally ready to announce that “A Shelter in the Storm” will be getting published in Wild Blue Wonder Press’s Whispers in Waves anthology! This anthology will include several Christian short stories set on coastlines during the summer season. The anthology is still in its early stages, so I can’t share a lot of information yet, but I can say it will be releasing on June 22, 2027. I will be sharing more information as we draw closer to the publication date, so stay tuned! I am super excited to have this opportunity and to be working with this amazing team of authors! I’ve been a huge fan of their other anthologies (which you can check out here if you are interested), so I am thrilled to get be a part of this one!

My second piece of news is that I am participating in this year’s Five Fall Favorites blog party, hosted by Katja from Old-Fashioned Book Love and Kate from Once Upon an Ordinary!

Every day from September 21-26, I, along with several other bloggers, will be sharing five favorite books of mine related to various daily themes, with a main theme of “Blessings of Life.” There will also be a fun giveaway and several freebies throughout the week, so you won’t want to miss it! I’ve followed along with the Five Fall Favorites blog tour for many years, but this will be my first time participating as a blogger, so I am very excited to get to be a part of it this year!
